Ingredients (makes 6-8):
Plain or vanilla/chocolate/nut flavoured Whey or vegan Protein powder , 4 scoops
Rolled oats, 1 1/2 cup
Raw Cacao powder , 2 tbsp
Shredded coconut, 1/2 cup
Tevia/Xylitol or other plant sweetener, 3 tsp
3/4 cup chunky peanut butter (or PIB Peanut butter butter powder for lower fat but less textured option)
Natural vanilla extract, 1tsp (if using plain protein powder)
Unsweetened almond milk (or other milk), 1 cup
Method:
Mix all together in a medium bowl. Spoon onto baking sheet on tray in 1/4 cup balls and refrigerate overnight; you can also choose to bake them for 8-10 min at 180 degrees C and leave to cool as a healthier alternative to shop bought barres.
