A theory and practical workshop designed for anyone involved with pregnant women and new mums who are not from a fitness background. Understand how pregnancy and the postnatal period affect the body and how these changes impact on exercise. You'll be better informed to help women make suitable choices during this time and also to re-assure them by learning how beneficial exercise is to her and her baby. You will also be taught some basic, safe yet effective exercise techniques to teach your patients in order to make pregnancy easier and speed up recovery. A certificate of attendance will be given on completion.
